Sponsorship with EveryDayHero
The Dublin Wicklow Mountain Rescue Team (DWMRT) is a registered user of EveryDayHero, an online charity fundraising platform.
The best and easiest way for you, as a participant of Walk the Line, to fundraise is to set up an Everyday Hero account. It’s very quick and simple to do and we describe below how to do it.
EverydayHero Setup
Go to the following link:
https://give.everydayhero.com/ie/dwmrt/get-started
This will take you to the setup page that is linked to DWMRT.
Page Title: Please start your page title with WTL2025
as you can see above. This is important for our own tracking purposes and will help us out a lot.
Example:
WTL2025

Raise Target: Set this to €75 (required amount) or a higher amount if you wish to set a more ambitious goal. Either way, your supporters won’t be stopped from making additional donations once your target is reached.
You can choose to register through your Facebook account (will not post to your page) or using an email address.

Once you have created your profile you will be brought to your fundraising page. The first thing you will be able to do is to add a profile picture.
Of course, you can skip all these steps if you wish.

Next, you can write a few words about why you are fundraising for DWMRT or you can accept the default write up we provided you.

The best and most effective way for you to get donors to your cause is to share your Everday Hero page on facebook, you will be offered the opportunity here.

Next, you will be asked if you want to donate to your own cause.
[/td_block_text_with_title][td_block_text_with_title custom_title=”step 6″]
That’s it, your page is now set up and you can share your link with all your family and friends.
Thank- you from all at Dublin Wicklow Mountain Rescue Team
